Remort provides an opportunity to take a hero character back through the
mortal levels, without sacrificing all their power. When you enter remort,
you will be sent to a private area that is a test of all your abilities,
physical and mental. Any class will have the tools to survive the remort
chamber, but every skill and item has the potential to help you through. The
specific contents of the chamber are

on remort WILL BE PUNISHED

The
REMORT
command is used for all remort-related actions, and may only be done
at the remort adept in Smote's Temple.

remort signup
- Puts you on the remort list if you can afford to pay the
fee; as soon as there is a chamber available, you have one
week to enter it.

remort status - Shows the waiting list and available chambers.

The remort chambers are entitled Eight Trials (1,2), Afterlife (3,4),
Counterintuition (5) and Lost Library (6).
If someone is in one of the chambers, they have until the date shown
to finish. For those people still waiting for a chamber, ones with
a * beside their name are eligible to enter and must enter before the
date shown. Those without a * were added to the remort list on the date as
shown, and must wait for an available chamber (or go through remort speed).
One chamber of each type is reserved for speed entries only.

If you do not enter within the appropriate time, do not finish, or
if you DIE in remort, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR ENTRY FEE OF QUEST POINTS AND GOLD.

remort enter - If you are next up on the list, you may enter; you have
one week in which to complete the remort challenge.
You will want to hold your quest eq on a storage character.
remort speed - If you are not next up on the list but feel you can
finish in 8 hours or less, you can opt for this entry;
you have 8 hours in which to complete the challenge.
remort cancel - If you've signed up but would rather try again later,
you may cancel and get a full refund.

AFTER SUCCESSFULLY REMORTING...
* You will be set to level 1.
* You will get to choose a new race, and to roll new stats. After each
remort, several new races will become available to you. (See HELP REMORTRACE).
If you choose an older race, your stats and etl will be slightly higher.
* You may then level this char 1 level above 90 for each remort you have.
A maximum of 10 remorts will be allowed, for a max level of 100.
* You will keep all your skills, but you can't use them until the normal
level that you'd get them.
* You cannot change your class, and there is no multiclassing option here.
* Currently, there are "only" 6 remorts. New remorts will be added in time.

remort lower
Once a player reaches maximum remort level, he can still re-remort by first
lowering his remort level with 'remort lower' and then entering remort
again. This DOES mean that he/she has to pay the remort fee again.
