clans
There are many diverse clans to choose from in the lands of Aarchon. Each clan has its own membership restrictions, rules for conduct (or lack thereof!), and policies. You may join a clan with the RECRUIT command (see HELP RECRUIT) once you reach level 10. Be aware that some clans are invitation only, and that the game will not allow you to join these clans without an invitation. Some clans also have alignment restrictions, with your membership hinging on your ability to conform to them. Clans are structured in ranks: From the lowly recruit, to the powerful clan elders, to the immortal Gods and ultimately the clan Patron. Each clan may have its own rank structure, with each rank given privileges according to the clan and its Patron's policy. Consult HELP RANK for more information on clan ranks, and use the CLANREPORT command to display the settings for a given clan, including its rank list. From time to time, clan rivalries may send them to war. Clan wars are robust, and each clan's leadership must decide upon a policy of Peace, War, or Treaty toward each other clan. During wartime, senior clan members may even call a Truce to parley with each other. Read HELP CLANWAR carefully if your clan is at war, as even non-pkill players of sufficient rank are drafted to defend their clan during these difficult times. Six clans currently exist in the lands of Aarchon. They Are: Legion Patron: Rimbol Q Patron: Bobble (Chaos Clan) Sehkma Mercenary Patron: None (Chaos Clan) Discordia Patron: Dinadin (Chaos Clan) Coterie Patron: Astark (Chaos Clan) Read help <clan name> for more information on that clan. Please note that Chaos Clans may declare war upon each other at any time.
