| Myrddraal are magically-twisted creatures who haven given themselves over to
the darkness. They resemble humans but their skin a chalk white and they have
no eyes, although they have the vision of eagles. Their very presence is
unsettling, and they can cast the fear spell at will. They can walk through
crowds unseen to do their sinful business, since they possess the hide and
shadowwalk skills. Myrddraal are strong and fairly healthy, the ultimate
disciplinarians, but their freakish appearance gives them a very low charisma,
and they are woefully unlucky. Myrddraal are vulnerable to holy and drowning
attacks, but are resistant to disease and cold.
