| The chances for getting a "Panic! You couldn't escape!" message are based on the number of available exits (0.5^#exits). When fleeing in a particular direction, this is treates as if only that direction was available (i.e. a 50% fail chance with the message above). The retreat skill eliminates that fail chance due to restricted #directions. |
